Overview
A private web application to create, send and track invoices and estimates, with branded PDFs and full customer history.
The challenge
Paperwork happens between jobs, not at a desk. The business needed to produce professional invoices and estimates quickly from a phone, tablet or laptop, and always know what had been paid and what was still outstanding.
Our approach
Instead of bending generic accounting software to fit, we built a focused internal tool: one branded document format, only the fields the business actually uses, and a dashboard that answers the most important question first: how much money is still outstanding.
What we built
- 01Secure sign-in with protected pages and sessions
- 02Customers with a full history of their invoices and estimates
- 03Invoices: create, duplicate, mark as paid, download a branded PDF or email
- 04Estimates with status tracking (draft, sent, approved, rejected) and one-click conversion to an invoice
- 05Dashboard with outstanding and collected totals and recent activity
- 06The phone's native share sheet for sending PDFs straight from the job site
- 07App-style bottom navigation on phones, a full sidebar on desktop
